Phillips Park Zoo
Our Mission
It is our mission at the Phillips Park Zoo to provide a safe and natural habitat for our animals. We provide safe and humane care for all the animals that call Phillips Park Zoo home. It is equally important to increase the awareness of these animals native to North America. Viewers can enjoy the display of animals while learning about their history and way of life.
Admission is free!
Zoo Hours
Phillips Park Zoo is open year round 9 am to 5 pm daily, but closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
The Reptile Building hours are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm daily.
Zoo Rules
- No dogs or other pets allowed. Pets are a threat to the safety and well being of the animals.
- No skateboards, roller blades, scooters, or bicycles allowed in the zoo. This is for the safety of the zoo visitors.
- No basketballs, soccer balls, baseballs, balloons, etc. allowed in the zoo. These distractions may disturb or harm the animals.
- Littering and throwing items into animal enclosures is strictly prohibited. Litter and garbage should be placed into proper receptacles.
- Feeding the zoo animals is strictly prohibited. Zoo animals are on a specific diet and feeding them may be harmful to their health.
