Memorial Day Parade 2013
Aurora annually remembers and honors all the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Come and show your appreciation and support.
When: Monday, May 27th
Where:Downtown Aurora
The Memorial Day Parade will begin with a patriotic ceremony at 11:15 a.m. in front of the David L. Pierce Art and History Center, 20 E. Downer Pl. The parade steps off at noon from the corner of Benton and River Streets, marching east to Broadway Avenue, north to Downer, and concluding at River St.
Memorial Day parade handicap parking will be available in the Water Street Parking Lot between Benton Street & Downer Place. The lot will be accessible from Downer until 11:50 a.m. Broadway will close for the parade at 12 noon and Benton Street will close at 10:30 a.m. for the parade setup so entrance would have to be made from Downer after that time.

Veterans Day Parade 2013
When: Monday Nov. 11th 10:15 a.m.
The City of Aurora’s Veterans Day Parade will recognize military personnel who have fought for our country’s freedom. Local military veteran groups are scheduled to participate. A post-parade ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m.
