Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program
The City of Aurora received $1,574,100 in Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funds (EECBG) funds, from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Funds were allocated toward programs to support Aurora residents and businesses; projects to support reduction in municipal energy usage; and projects supporting leadership in renewable energy technology.
