From Chicago
- Take I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway) west to I-88 (Reagan Memorial Tollway) west
- Take I-88 west to Illinois Route 31 (Lake Street)
- Travel south on Route 31
- Turn left onto Galena Boulevard
- Turn right onto Broadway (Route 25)
- Turn right onto Downer Place
- David L. Pierce Art & History Center is on the right side of the street past the bridge
From Route 47
- Take Galena Boulevard east through downtown Aurora to Route 25 (Broadway)
- Turn right on Route 25 (Broadway) and travel one block to Downer Place
