Inside front cover lists number of graves (presumably of Civil War Veterans) in local cemeteries.
First page reads:
"All records previous to those appearing in this book are in loose leaf form and are filed in the same manner with the association. Also included in this book so filed is the photographic copy of GAR Memorial Association of Aurora, Illinois, certificate number 10842 of the Articles of Incorporation of the above mentioned organization; the original of which is on file in the office of the Secretary of State. A copy of the bylaws of the organization is in this file accepted under date of June 5, 1944." Signed Celia Holslag, Adjutant, February 16, 1948.
The book contains the minutes of each meeting. |
