Date 1899-1905
Description Tan Pith helmet. Gold Army insignia on front, crossed rifle buttons on each side, probably Infantry, oak leaves at top with spire. Tag inside reads: "Patented May 2, 1899" another tag with "7" probably size. Leather band inside, body made of cork. Brass hooks inside for chin strap, but strap is missing.
