Steps To Homeownership
The Steps to Homeownership event will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Quad County Urban League, 1685 N. Farnsworth Ave., Aurora, Illinois. Steps to Homeownership will feature free workshops in English and Spanish at the following times:
- 9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. - Homebuyer Counseling - Joseph Corporation
- 10:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. - Personal Financial Management - Consumer Credit Counseling Service
- 11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Special Programs and Incentives for Homebuyers - Down Payment Assistance - BMO Harris N.A. Bank and Illinois Housing Development Authority
- 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - City of Aurora-Owned Homes For Sale - Neighborhood Redevelopment Division
$20 vouchers for groceries from Cermak Foods in Aurora will be given to the first 20 attendees.
