Missing Persons Recovered

A 29-year-old Aurora woman and her three young sons, who have been missing since February 15, have been located safe in Florida.

Laureth (“Laurie”) M. May of the 200 block of Plum Street, along with her three boys: Quincy Collins age 4, Oliver Collins age 2, and Spencer Collins, age 1; along with a 17 year old female juvenile who had been reported missing from Cicero almost simultaneously to Laureth and the children going missing; were all located in Ft. Pierce, Florida today at around 9:00 a.m. Central Time.

The five persons were in Laureth May’s 2001 Volvo station wagon. The vehicle was pulled over by a Florida Highway Patrol Officer after he apparently randomly ran the license plate while on routine patrol. The officer discovered the plate was registered to Laureth and that she and the children had been reported as missing persons. All five are apparently in good health.

At this time, the family is making arrangements to pick up the children. There are no criminal charges pending from the Aurora Police, who have been working with the Cicero Police Department in the investigation.
