Buildings and Permits
Mission Statement
We provide effective ordinance and code administration and enforcement and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens and businesses of Aurora. Additionally, we will continue to improve Aurora’s ISO (Insurance Services Office, Inc. - www.iso.com) and Building Code Effective Grading Schedule (BCEGS) score through departmental procedures, additional training, and certifications of staff. Improving this rating could decrease insurance rates paid for properties in Aurora.
