Eligible electronics that will be collected include monitors, computers (both PCs and Macs), laptops, televisions, printers, fax machines, scanners, computer accessories (mouses, keyboards and modems), video game consoles, telephones, answering machines, cell phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), MP3 players, cameras, camcorders, servers and networking equipment, DVD players, stereos, and VCRs. Microwaves are the only kitchen appliance that can be recycled.

Children can give their Christmas wish list to Santa Claus in person.  The free event is sponsored by the Friends of Phillips Park.  Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras.

Drop your kids off at the amazing SciTech Museum, 18 W Benton in Aurora Friday November 25 for up to 8 hours of fun while you enjoy hours of “hands-free” shopping!

The 14th annual Winter Garden of Youth Art spotlights the artistic talents of Aurora students ranging from kindergarten through high school. The artwork, which will be displayed through Jan. 20, 2012, will feature a variety of mediums chosen by teachers and school faculty members. Admission to the reception and gallery is free.
