Section 29-20

Ages 15 & Under

Ages 16 & 17

11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday

Midnight Friday & Saturday

Sec. 29-20.1. Vehicle seizure and impoundment.

A motor vehicle, operated with the permission, express or implied, of the owner of record, that is used in the violation of section 29-20 of this Code or in the violation of paragraphs 3-710, 12-503(a) and (b) or 12-611 of the Illinois Vehicle Code (625 ILCS 5/3-710, 12-503(a) and (b), 12-611), shall be subject to seizure and impoundment under this section. The owner of record of such vehicle shall be liable to the city for a penalty of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) in addition to fees for the towing and storage of the vehicle.
