Water Production
Mission Statement
To provide the City of Aurora with a reliable supply of safe, high quality water, at adequate pressure for fire protection, in a cost-effective manner and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. To manage the maintenance and expansion of water supply infrastructure as needed to effectively support the growth and development of the City of Aurora.
Water Quality Report

Drink Up, Aurora! Best Tasting Water in Illinois!
For the third consecutive year, City of Aurora water was selected the “Best Tasting Water in Illinois” at the Illinois Section American Water Works Association Water Taste Contest in Springfield, IL, on March 17, 2009. This marks the fifth time Aurora water has won this prestigious honor. The previous wins were in 1999, 2000, 2007, and 2008.
