The price for one individual contest event ticket is $15. The events are 3 Point Shootout and Hot Shot contest. Below you will see the age brackets for Men and Women. A minimum of 10 entries is required before the contest will start in any bracket.

Entry Procedure
Download and fill out the entry form. Please print neatly in black ink. Include all names for your team members. Rosters must be completed before a team can register. Remit your entry fee of $30.00 for a team of 3 or 4 and your completed entry form. Trophies will awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Open Division 19 and older with no college eligibility, your fee will be $130.00. There will be cash prizes for 1st $600.00, 2nd $400.00. Designate a team captain and he/she will be notified by phone as to the time of your first game.

Entry Deadline
Your entry must be received by Monday, June 12, 2009.
Early Bird Check-In
June 25, 2009 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. 3rd floor, Room 315 at 501 College Ave., Aurora, IL 60505.
Team Check-In
Please report to the sign in table on June 27, 2009 one hour before your first game. Please follow the bracket schedule you received at early bird check-in. If you do not use the early bird check-in for registration, a Saturday morning booth will be open at 7:30 a.m. on location.

Aurora East High School, 500 Tomcat Lane, Aurora, IL 60605.
Brackets
Single elimination Tournament. Teams will be grouped in divisions with other teams of similar age. All teams guaranteed at least two games.
Official Rules
- Each team will consist of 3 or 4 players.
- Can start with 3 and end with 2 players.
- Games will be played on half court.
- A coin toss will begin each game and overtime period.
- Games are to 21 points or a twenty minute limit.
- 2 points are scored per basket.
- 3 points are scored per basket beyond the 3-point line.
- Shooting fouls result in one point and the ball out of bounds.
- After the sixth team foul, one point and the ball out of bounds.
- On change of possession the ball goes back beyond the 3 point line.
- The clock will run continuously. Any substitutions will be made at a dead ball situation.
- No time outs are allowed except for injuries.
- There is no shot clock, but the ball will be turned over for stalling.
- Parents and spectators can be ejected from the event for unsportsmanlike conduct.
- You can play up but not down a division.
Contest Description
Awards will be given to Division Champions, 2nd Place and 3rd Place. Hoops on Fire 3 on 3 complies with NCAA regulations and IHSA rules.
We reserve the right to reduce the number of scheduled games or shorten games due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. There will be no refunds given after you register.
