Meeting Details

Meetings can last a little as 30 minutes or as long as 2 hours depending on the number or complexity of agenda items. 3 unexcused absences in 1 year are generally grounds for dismissal for members.

About the Council

The Aurora Neighborhood Council is an advisory body to the city council, on the development or initiation of programs or actions that will enhance, Aurora's diverse neighborhoods. The ANC is currently composed of 10 Members who shall be residents of the City, and appointed by the Mayor subject to the approval of the city council. Members are appointed to a 1, 2 or 3 year term with no maximum term limit.
