The City of Aurora's Annual Memorial Day Parade will step-off at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2020, in downtown Aurora!
The parade route will begin at the intersection of Benton and River, head east on Benton, north on Broadway, west on Downer Place and ending at River Street.
The Memorial Day Parade Reviewing Stand will be placed in front of the David L. Pierce Art and History Center, located at 20 East Downer Place, for best viewing.
Lots C, I and L are closed. Lots B, D, G, Q and R may be accessed until 11:30 a.m. on Memorial Day. Those 5 lots will re-open again at approximately 1:30 p.m. Please reference our map for a visual representation (PDF).
Grand Marshal Nomination Form
In Spring of 2020, Memorial Day Parade Grand Marshal Nomination Forms will open. At that time, citizens will be able to nominate either a current Aurora resident or someone who has made a special impact on the city of Aurora. Please note - This person must have a special tie into the holiday that is being celebrated.
