Lieutenant Robb Wallers was born and raised in Aurora and is a graduate of Aurora Central Catholic High School. Robb began his career in law enforcement as an Aurora Police Cadet in 1988 and was appointed as an Aurora Police Officer in 1991. During his career, Robb has held assignments in Patrol, the Field Training Officers Program, The Gang Intervention Unit (GIU), the Special Operations Group, the GAVEL Unit (Gang Anti-Violence Enforcement Leaders), the Community Oriented Policing Unit, the Investigations Division, and the Investigative Deadly Force Team. Wallers served on the Employee Review Board and was an investigator assigned to the Office of Professional Standards. In addition, Robb was a DARE officer from 1995 to 2003. Wallers was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2003 and to the rank of Lieutenant in 2019. Robb earned his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Waubonsee Community College in 1990.
Wallers is currently the Lieutenant overseeing the Investigations Unit which includes General Assignment Investigations, the Domestic Violence Reduction Unit, the School Resource Officers, and the Evidence Unit.
