Lt. Larry Suttle

Lieutenant Larry Suttle is the Night Watch Commander and oversees all three areas during the overnight shift at the Aurora Police Department. 

Suttle began his career with the Aurora Police in May of 2000 and has worked in Patrol as a Field Training Officer, Street Evidence Tech, and Bike Officer. He also worked as a School Resource Officer at East Aurora High School. He later joined APD's Training Division and also worked as a supervisor in the Booking Division. Suttle was also a member of the Special Response Team, as an Operator and Assistant Team Leader.

During his tenure, Suttle has served on both the APPO and ASA Police Union Boards along with serving on the Aurora Police Honor Guard and the Aurora Police Bagpipes and Drums.

Suttle was promoted to rank of Sergeant in 2008 and Lieutenant in 2020.

Suttle is a lifelong resident of Aurora and raised his family in Aurora. He has dedicated over 21 years to making Aurora a better place and he is proud to call this Aurora home.
