Report Requests, Backgrounds, and Fingerprints

Service requests can be made at the Aurora Police Department's Records Counter, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Records Department is responsible for the management and coordination of police records. 

Services within this department include:

  • Copies of Crash Reports $5.00
  • Certified Arrest Record Check $5.00 (local only)
  • Fingerprints (Walk-in Mondays only from 8am - 4pm; Ink and roll only)  $10.00 for the first card and $5.00 for any additional card, citizen must bring their own fingerprint card. The Aurora Police Department does not fingerprint for a concealed carry license.
  • Police Report Requests (other than crash reports) may be requested by completing a Freedom of Information Request.

No bills over $20 accepted. Credit Cards are accepted.
