The City of Aurora is postponing the Historic Preservation Expo until early next year.
We are still requesting information on contractors that have experience working on historic buildings. Please feel free to complete the Exhibitor Form below to add your company to our exhibitor's list. The purpose of the event is to showcase contractors, trades-persons, businesses, and professionals that have expertise working on historic homes and provide an opportunity for homeowners to meet individually with architects to discuss larger rehabilitation projects.
We would encourage any company with knowledge and expertise on working on historic buildings to consider being an exhibitor at the Preservation Expo next year. We are asking potential exhibitors to complete a brief online form that includes information on your background working on historic buildings. Please note that this event is to promote the preservation and rehabilitation of historic fabric first and foremost and then the use of appropriate replacement materials and features that adhere to Aurora’s Historic Preservation Design Guidelines. Although we realize many companies have a variety of specialties, we ask that at the Expo advertisement of products and services that do not promote the goal of the Expo, such as vinyl and aluminum siding and windows, not be used.
