Automotive Batteries

Larger lead-acid batteries from autos, boats, sump pumps, and the like may be taken to any store that sells these batteries. The store will accept them for free or a small charge. These batteries are totally recycled including the lead plates, battery acid, and plastic case.
Alkaline Batteries

Alkaline batteries are used in many household items such as MP3 players, CD players, digital cameras, pagers, toys, lights, and radios. Single-use batteries are not reusable when they lose their charge.

Button cells are used to power small portable electronics devices such as wrist watches, pocket calculators, artificial cardiac pacemakers, implantable cardiac defibrillators, automobile key-less entry transmitters, and hearing aids.

Lithium batteries are commonly used as power sources for portable electronics and implanted medical devices. Lithium batteries are single-use batteries.

Nickel-Zinc Batteries

A nickel–zinc battery, abbreviated NiZn, is a type of rechargeable battery. The most popular applications are traction applications, electric bicycles, scooters, lawnmowers.
