2018 AuRORA Pooch Parade

Join the City of Aurora as we celebrate our favorite furry friends! The second annual Aurora Pooch Parade will take place on Sunday, September 8th, from 1 - 3 p.m., at Phillips Park in Aurora. 

Registration begins at 12 p.m., at the Phillips Visitors Center - 1000 Ray Moses Drive, Aurora, IL. 60505.

To enter:

  • All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
  • All dogs must be socialized.
  • All must use a standard leash while in the parade.
  • An application must be submitted by Friday, September 7th. (See application below)

The first 100 registrants are guaranteed a spot in the parade and can compete for one of the following titles:

  • Biggest Dog
  • Smallest Dog
  • Best Aurora Pride
  • Best Costume
  • Best Look-a-Like (Owner & Dog)
  • Best Tail
  • Most Beautiful Eyes
  • Most Energetic 
  • Fan Favorite
