COVID-19 INFORMATION & RESOURCES 

The City of Aurora remains in consistent contact health experts regarding the COVID-19 Coronavirus and continues to take proactive action to prepare for the well-being of our residents. MASK UP, AURORA! 

In an effort to make sure every Auroran has a mask to wear, Mayor Richard C. Irvin launched the #MaskUpAurora campaign. Through a generous donation from the Willie Wilson Foundation, high-quality disposable masks are available for free:

INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES
Free masks (up to 10) are available for pick-up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Aurora Customer Service Center, 3770 McCoy Drive. Senior citizens and residents with transportation concerns can call the Customer Service Center at 630-256-4636 to request a mask to be mailed.  

LARGE GROUPS
Masks are available in large quantities of 500+ to faith communities, nursing homes, non-profit organizations, etc.  A request must be completed and approved before a pick-up time is arranged. Submit a request at www.aurora-il.org/MaskUpAurora

ASSISTANCE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS 

Our senior citizens and vulnerable populations are at a higher risk for severe illness because of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Aurora is collaborating with senior services providers in each county to distribute information on services available to our seniors at this time, including shopping and medication assistance. A number of grocery stores have also dedicated special shopping hours just for senior citizens and vulnerable populations. Click HERE for the senior citizens’ assistance page.

GRANTS & LOANS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES 

To provide aid for small businesses in Illinois that have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, the State of Illinois has announced two financial assistance programs for small businesses: the Illinois Small Business Emergency Loan Fund and the Hospitality Emergency Grant Program.
