Let us build upon our legacy, accept a greater level of responsibility and demonstrate an authentic commitment to unity in the City of Lights.  As the City of Aurora is progressing through its CHANGE Reform Initiative, let’s be a part of the change to move our city forward. It is time. 

THE D9 COMMUNITY OF AURORA can have an even greater impact by coming together to:

•    pool volunteers ready for appointment to City boards and commissions.

•    support those who best speak to the issues of our community.

•    mentor our youth through existing D9 & community mentoring programs.

•    network with our D9-run businesses, non-profits and community initiatives. 

•    host community initiatives for the greater good of our organizations and city.

•    help prepare members for undergraduate and alumni chapters.

•    be complementary and not competitive! 

•    … just UNITE to communicate, connect and help to CHANGE our city!

THE FIRST STEP is to build a D9 Distribution List of members of all nine Black Greek Letter Organizations in and from Aurora. This campaign will extend through the Founders Day season in January. We’ll keep growing and empowering from there.
