The African-American Heritage Advisory Board honors a distinguished Aurora leader during the annual AAHAB Heritage Dinner in February.
On February 24, 2023, we will come together - for the first time since 2020 - at the dinner to honor the past, present and future, including recognizing the 2023 African-American Leader of the Year.
Think of how much the world changed during these past three years - from a global pandemic to a period of worldwide racial reckoning. Certainly, Aurora was impacted by both - and many leaders, organizers and advocates met the challenges head on.
