Application Process

1. Schedule to take the video-based job simulation multiple-choice exam. Visit: www.nationaltestingnetwork.com to register, pay and select testing location.

2. Submit application online at https://il-aurora.civicplushrms.com/careers/ and upload required documents (see Document Checklist).

Document Checklist: 

  • Birth Certificate 
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Unofficial high school transcript or G.E.D composite score
  • Unofficial college transcript with a minimum of 16 credit hours (if applicable)
  • Completed Preference Points Request Form, with qualifying documents (if applicable)

Hardship Waiver

If you are interested in this opportunity but are unable to pay any of the process fees including the National Testing Network exam fee and/or the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) certification fee, please complete the hardship waiver form and return it to Human Resources for consideration. You must allow 5 business days for review.
