23. Foulke House, 1901

William Foulke, treasurer of the Western Wheeled Scraper Works, built this late Queen Anne style home in 1901. It features a polygonal tower, hipped dormers and diamond-pane windows. From 1965 to 2006, it was owned by Bruce and Claire Newton, creators of over 200 puppets including the famous Garfield Goose. During this period it became known as the "Garfield Goose House."
