The Aurora City Council is comprised of 12 elected officials - 10 ward aldermen and 2 aldermen-at-large. Working in tandem with the mayor, the aldermen are the voices of the Aurora community at the city government level.

In accordance with Sec. 5 ILCS 120/2.02 of the Illinois Open Meetings Act, attached please find notice of a time change for the City Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 9, 2023. This meeting will begin at 4pm instead of its usual time of 6pm.
