Mayor Richard Irvin is inviting Aurora families to trick-or-treat at Aurora City Hall on Halloween.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, City Hall will host costumed trick-or-treaters as they visit different City departments for candy and special handouts.

"Aurora is one of the top cities in the nation for trick-or-treating. This is another opportunity for our families to enjoy the holiday while visiting more places in the community," said Mayor Irvin. "Parents and children will have an opportunity to tour City Hall as they stop in each department and get an early start to the evening Halloween activities."

Official citywide trick-or-treating hours in the City of Aurora begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.

Dressed for the occasion, Mayor Irvin and City staff will greet trick-or-treaters throughout the building. Aurora City Hall is located at 44 E. Downer Place.
