Today, the BNSF Railway informed the City of Aurora of the need for immediate repairs to a section of its rail line that crosses Route 25 in Aurora.

Consequently, Route 25 (Broadway Ave) will be closed to through traffic just north of Illinois Avenue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

Motorists are advised to follow the detoured routes as posted.
