The popular midweek Aurora Farmers Market is open for the season with fresh produce, pastries, plants and hand-crafted products.
The midweek market is open every Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. through September 26 at West Aurora Plaza, 2131 W. Galena Blvd., in the former Walmart parking lot.
“We are excited to bring back our midweek market for the community,” said Aurora Farmers Market manager Karla Thomas. “Our patrons and vendors agree that our Wednesday afternoon hours provide a convenient opportunity to shop for fresh food in the middle of the week.”
Local farm vendors Theis Farms, Wiltse Farms and BR Honey Co. will be joined by farmers from throughout the region to offer patrons the best produce in the area. Visitors can also enjoy food from such favorites as the Wurst Kitchen Dick's Mini-Donuts and Georgie's Red Hot Chicago Dogs while shopping with a variety of vendors.
The midweek market is a complement to the signature weekend Aurora Farmers Market held everySaturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through October 20 at the Aurora Transportation Center, 233 N. Broadway Ave.
