Aurora families are invited to trick-or-treat at Aurora City Hall on Halloween.
From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, City Hall will host costumed trick-or-treaters as they visit City departments on all five floors for candy, treats and special handouts.
"Last year, we had more than 1,000 visitors to City Hall on Halloween,” said Mayor Richard C. Irvin. “We look forward to welcoming even more this year. Parents and children will have an opportunity to tour City Hall as they stop in each department and get an early start to the evening Halloween activities."
Official citywide trick-or-treating hours in the City of Aurora begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.
Mayor Irvin and City staff will be dressed for the occasion and will greet trick-or-treaters throughout the building.
Aurora City Hall is located at 44 E. Downer Place.
