[ARCHIVED] VNA Opens COVID-19 Testing Center in Aurora

VNA on Highland

VNA Health Care in Aurora is now offering testing for the COVID-19 coronavirus. Testing is available by appointment only to people with COVID-19 symptoms.

COVID-19 specimens will be tested at no charge by the Illinois Department of Public Health. Testing will be offered to the public, regardless of income, immigration, or insurance status.

A VNA provider will assess individuals prior to testing. Individuals without insurance will be served on a sliding fee scale based upon income, with a total fee of $5-10 for the pre-test assessment. No one will be turned away because of an inability to pay. Visit www.vnahealth.com for insurance plans accepted.

“VNA was founded over 100 years ago during the Spanish Flu pandemic and our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services for the communities we serve across the Chicago metro region remains steadfast and has endured throughout this century of service,” said Linnea Windel, VNA President & CEO. “VNA is pleased to offer testing for COVID-19, in addition to a full range of primary care services that improve access to care for vulnerable populations."

Testing will be available by appointment only Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at VNA Health Care, 400 N. Highland Avenue, in Aurora.
