AURORA OPENS OVERNIGHT TEMPORARY WARMING CENTER 
 
With the forecasted weather over the next week, the City of Aurora is opening a centrally-located overnight temporary warming center to provide a safe, warm space for those in need. 

Beginning tonight, Tuesday, December 20, the Aurora Transportation Center, 233 N. Broadway, will be open each night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. through the morning of Tuesday, December 27, 2022. 

Staff and security guards will be onsite at all times.

 

 Visitors to the nearby Hesed House daytime warming center have been notified of the overnight option.

 

 The overnight warming center is activated based on temperature thresholds.
