The amenities that make Aurora a great place for families to live will be front and center during the 4th Annual Experience Aurora Homeownership Expo on Saturday.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, the Expo will held at the Prisco Community Center, 150 W. Illinois Ave., with free food and entertainment for visitors.
Trolley tours of homes in and around the historic west side of Aurora will be given and realtors and bankers will be on hand to help potential buyers find the perfect house anywhere in Aurora. Details on financial assistance programs providing thousands of dollars to first-time home buyers and those who haven't purchased a home in three years will be offered; and visitors can also meet with representatives of Aurora's various financial, educational, recreational, arts, non-profit and government institutions.
In collaboration with the City of Aurora, participating sponsors for the 4th Annual Experience Aurora Homeownership Expo include First Midwest Bank, Rebuilding Together Aurora, BBMC Mortgage, Realtor Association of Fox Valley, Fifth Third Bank, Old Second Bank and West Aurora School District 129.
The Expo is free and open to the public.
