I have several old cans of paint, solvents and thinners. How can I safely dispose of household-generated hazardous materials?
The facility is located just north of the Department of Public Works building at Fort Hill Drive and Jefferson Avenue at:
156 Fort Hill Drive
Naperville, IL 60540

It will operate on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., excluding holidays. Materials may not be dropped off outside these posted hours.

Naperville operates 1 of only 4 permanent drop-off locations for household hazardous waste in the state in cooperation with the City of Aurora and Will, DuPage and Kane counties. During Fiscal Year 2014, the City collected 266 tons of household hazardous materials, including the following and more:
- Anti-Freeze
- Cleaning Products
- Fertilizers
- Flammables
- Herbicides
- Oil
- Paints
