Proposed Improvement: The City is seeking bids to perform cutting/grinding of an estimated 1,010 sidewalk cuts at various locations throughout the City which have lifted/heaved vertically to create trip hazards. All panels are 5 feet wide and the estimated vertical height of the cuts to be performed ranges from ¼” to 1 ¾“, resulting in a total of approximately 1,510 inch-feet of cuts. The City of Aurora has a local preference ordinance that would apply to this contract.
