    Fall has arrived and Aurora residents will once again be able to dispose of their leaves for free as part of the City of Aurora's Annual Leaf Collection Program. The free Fall Leaf Collection Program begins on Monday, October 16 and ends on Friday, December 8. Leaves must be put into a 30-gallon Kraft paper yard waste bag and placed at the curb on the regular garbage pickup day by 6:00 a.m. No waste sticker is needed.

  2. Free Electronics Recycling - Registration Required

    October 28, 2017, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Parking Lot W - 309 N. River Street

    The City of Aurora, in partnership with Will County, is hosting a free Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, October 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All items are free to recycle, including televisions, but registration is required. Due to the high demand for service: *The event is open to Aurora residents only. ID is required. *All residents MUST register for a time slot online at or by calling 630-256-4636. Space is limited per hour. *Each car is limited to five (5) items in total, including two (2) total screens - either television OR computer screen. *Only approved household items and electronics will be accepted. The recycling event will be held in the City's public parking Lot W located at 309 N. River Street, between New York Street and Vine Street.
