Cindy is this summer’s Youth Services intern. She is currently a junior at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) pursuing a dual degree in communications and marketing. At the moment, Cindy is working on several tasks such as updating the Youth Services Website page, event planning, and creating a marketing plan to increase engagement with members of the community, especially the youth. In her free time, Cindy enjoys writing, crafting, and binging on the occasional Netflix series.When asked what she was most looking forward to in regards to this internship, Cindy said it was “having the opportunity to extend the amazing resources the City of Aurora offers by increasing awareness to more Aurora families.
