JULY 4th PARADE

The annual July 4th Parade kicks off Aurora’s celebration of the nation’s birthday. The parade is presented in partnership with Roosevelt-Aurora American Legion Post 84 and also helps to honor all the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Come and show your appreciation and support.

Date & Time: July 4, 2015, 10am to approximately 11am

Route: The parade kicks-off at River St. & Benton St., goes east on Benton St., then north on Broadway St., turning west on Galena Blvd. then south on Stolp Ave., turning west on Downer Place and ending at River Street. Best viewing is in front of North Island Center on Galena Blvd.

Parking: Available at designated lots, however some may be closed due to the staging area of the parade. The Stolp Parking Deck will have limited access prior and directly after the parade.

Pre-Parade Program: The Independence Day Reviewing Stand program begins at 9:15 a.m. in front of the Paramount Theatre at 23 East Galena Boulevard.
