It’s a night of art, fun, music and community at local businesses and venues in downtown Aurora on the first Friday evening of the month. First Fridays in Downtown Aurora invites the community to enjoy art, music, food, theater and more on the first Friday of the month. First Fridays are the first Friday of every month. First Friday venues have staggered times ranging from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. First Friday events are FREE! (Theater performances not included.)

Hispanic Heritage Annual Breakfast
Education is key as we celebrate the 13th annual Hispanic heritage community breakfast. Selected recipients are presented prizes and scholarships to reward K-12 students for their creative talents, community service, leadership and excellent in academics.
We are delighted to be celebrating two community members who will be recognized for the Delia Nila Basile Award and the Pete Perez Award. Breakfast will be served buffet style while we enjoy our keynote speaker, Dr. Jose M. Torres, President of Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA).
