Salvation Army Golden Diners
The Golden Diners program provides nutritious meals for those ages 60 and over. It also encourages seniors to come out and enjoy lunch with their peers at our community dining sites. For those who are homebound, they can have meals brought to their house.
Seniors age 65 and over may be eligible for a RTA Ride Free Program. For more information on this program, please contact Pace Fox Valley by phone or visit them in person.

Senior Services Associates of Aurora
Senior Services Associates provides a variety of services to older adults ages 60 and up. They provide assistance and information for Medicare issues, prescriptions, affordable senior housing, property tax issues, transportation, utilities, veteran’s issues, legal issues and caregiver issues. They also provide a variety of programs at their center.
Always Best Care Senior Services
Always Best Care Senior Services helps families with non-medical in-home care and assisted living referral services. There’s no charge for a free Care Consultation or for assisted living referral services. Other services may vary in cost.
Rachel’s Place provides adult day services for seniors who are challenged with early dementia or Alzheimer’s or those who are socially isolated. The day program provides a secure environment for those who cannot stay home alone during the day. Participants receive meals and snacks; participate in recreational activities, and a structured light exercise program. The program is run by a registered nurse and a CNA.
Fox Valley Park District
The Park District provides a variety of programs for seniors at discounted rates. Additionally, the Friendly Center Club meets on Thursdays every week at the Prisco Center. Members pay $1 for dues each week. Prices may be higher on days of luncheons.
Prairie State Legal Services
For adults aged 60+, Prairie State Legal Services provides assistance for non-criminal court cases such as family law, housing law, health care, needs-based government assistance, and some consumer law cases.
Southeast Kane County T.R.I.A.D.
T.R.I.A.D. aims to increase awareness of crimes against senior citizens. They sponsor programs for seniors to reduce fear of crime and to educate citizens about preventative measures they can take to protect themselves. They also aim to improve communication and understanding between seniors and law enforcement.
Community Contacts, Inc.
Community Contacts seeks to provide utility bill assistance, weatherization and housing rehabilitation for eligible households in Kane County.
Aurora Township Senior Services
Aurora Township offers recreation and enrichment programs at the Township Community Center which include drop in program/luncheons, holiday parties, exercise classes, and computer classes. They also offer a lawn mowing and chore services.
